Italian asset manager Kryalos SGR has announced the acquisition of four logistics assets in Milan, Rome and San Miniato near Pisa, through the Jupiter and Thunder II funds invested by Blackstone.
Jupiter, a new closed-end investment fund, has made its first investments with the purchase of a 20,000 m2 asset in Rho, near Milan. The asset is occupied by a single tenant.
The Rome property is located about 25 km from the city and is fully leased to several tenants.
The Thunder II fund has purchased a portfolio of two logistics assets encompassing 55,000 m2 in San Miniato near Pisa. One of the assets is let to a French chemical operator while the other asset is newly-built and is occupied by a major Italian logistics operator.
The transactions lift Kryalos' logistics portfolio to 160 buildings with a total of 3.5 million m2.
