German real estate company Kondor Wessels Mitteldeutschland is investing around €100 mln in the largest residential quarter in Eastern Germany since reunification.

Quartier Mawa

Quartier Mawa

A new neighbourhood with 259 apartments will be built on the site of a burnt-down meat factory on Max-Schwarze-Strasse in Pirna near Dresden.

The first six multi-family houses of the Quartier Mawa project are now coming onto the market, offering 76 apartments.

The interiors are designed according to contemporary, open floor plans, whose optimal room layouts ensure a bright, atmospheric living ambience.

The 56 m2 to 150 m2 condominiums are available in various price and size segments and some are barrier-free.

All units will have balcony or terrace, while the first floor apartments come with a spacious garden.

Quartier Mawa foresees the construction of 17 apartment buildings, grouped around a green centre, which will be marketed individually.

The project will start in the spring of 2024 and is expected to be completed in 2028.

The residential quarter will be implemented with the energy efficiency standard 40 with QNG certificate.

An underground garage with 75 parking spaces, cellar rooms and bicycle parking spaces will be available to residents.

An adjacent allotment garden and traffic-calmed access roads create the idyllic impression of living on the edge of town.

The historic, small Saxon town of Pirna is located on the course of the Elbe River, just minutes from Dresden and the unique natural landscape of Saxon Switzerland.
