Global property adviser Knight Frank has appointed Caroline Bathgate as head of European valuation & advisory.
Bathgate joined Knight Frank in 2004 and has over 15 years of valuation experience across all commercial property sectors throughout the UK and Continental Europe.
'I am delighted to welcome Caroline to the position as Head of European Valuation & Advisory. As a long-standing member of the team, she has fantastic relationships with clients across Europe and is well placed to further develop our reach and offer,' said Rupert Johnson, global head of valuation & advisory.
Bathgate is chairperson of the Knight Frank European valuation & advisory board, and sits as the European representative on the global valuations board. As a former member of the RICS Red Book advisory committee, she oversees the implementation of Knight Frank’s best practice procedures for Europe.
'Having just celebrated my 15th anniversary at Knight Frank, I am thrilled to have been appointed as head of European valuation & advisory,' said Bathgate.
'We have a fantastic team of valuers across Europe, supported by our leasing, capital markets and research teams, and an enviable client list. I look forward to working with the team to drive the business forward, building on our existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities to establish Knight Frank as the market leading Valuation & Advisory business in Europe,' Bathgate concluded.
The appointment follows the retirement of Nick Powlesland, after 33 years with the firm.
