Knight Frank Investment Management (KFIM) has appointed John Styles as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), following Matthew McDonald’s promotion to CEO.
Styles has been a member of the KFIM Board since the business launched in 2012 and is responsible for UK pension fund and insurance company client mandates.

He will continue to be responsible for the UK direct portfolio of Local Pensions Partnership Investments Limited, one of the eight local government pension scheme asset pools.
John Styles commented: 'I am delighted to take on the CIO role at a time of significant change in the markets and the property investment management industry. Continuing to deliver strong financial returns whilst meeting ESG objectives for our clients and responding to some investors’ desire to make impactful investments will present interesting opportunities and challenges.'
