Agent Knight Frank has promoted Sergey Gipsh, partner and regional director of retail real estate in Knight Frank Russia & CIS, as new managing partner of the Moscow office effective 1 September.
Gipsh will continue to direct management of retail real estate and personally supervise the company's key projects in this market segment.
Gipsh replaces Kyrill Starodoubtsev, founder and largest private shareholder of Knight Frank Moscow, who until now has combined the duties of managing partner and chairman of the board of directors. Following the appointment, he will focus on the strategic management of the company, while continuing to lead the board of directors.
Gipsh joined Knight Frank in 2011 as a partner heading the Retail Property Division of the company’s business in Russia and the CIS. Prior to that, he was the managing director of the Moscow office of Colliers International.
