Schröder most recently worked for UBS Global Asset Management as transaction manager in acquisitions and sales. She started her career at JLL in Budapest, and has more than 15 years of transaction experience on both the owner and consultancy side.

Under the leadership of managing partner, Sarah Cervinka, Knight Frank's Munich office has expanded its capital markets team with five new additions since the start of 2021.

Maximilian Weis joined as associate director in April after seven years at Cushman & Wakefield. He is responsible for special client services, advising national and international account clients. Dennis Beißer, previously a research analyst at Cushman & Wakefield, joined the firm in March as senior research consultant. In addition, the team has also recruited two new joiners into analysis and marketing roles.

Commenting on the appointments, Cervinka said: 'I'm thrilled to warmly welcome each of our new appointments to Knight Frank. We're very proud of our growth and the strategic expansion of this diversified capital markets team. All its members have proven expertise in their fields and solid market knowledge.

'Under the leadership of Sandra Schröder—one of comparatively few women in similar positions in the German investment market—this highly specialist team will offer our clients holistic services and insight to an exceptional level.'
