Knight Frank has appointed Caroline Bathgate as global head of its valuation & advisory service line.

Having joined Knight Frank in 2004 and bringing with her over 17 years of valuation experience across all commercial property sectors throughout the UK and continental Europe, Bathgate assumes her new role in April this year.

Bathgate takes over from Rupert Johnson, who becomes the service line chair ahead of his retirement in 2022.

In her new role, Bathgate will develop and guide the three-year plan for the global valuation & advisory service lines.

Bathgate will be supported by the firm’s global valuation & advisory leadership executive, comprising eight valuation specialists with focuses including Central London, UK cities, bank lending, investment funds, international, corporate, propco and private equity clients, business development, data & technology and best practice & compliance.

As a former member of the RICS red book advisory committee, Bathgate currently works with the firm’s client base across continental Europe, whilst also overseeing the implementation of Knight Frank’s best practice procedures for the region. Key clients include CBRE Global Investors, Hines, Schroders, Nuveen Real Estate, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and Citibank.

Knight Frank’s valuation & advisory team comprises over 900 people in 78 offices around the world.
