KND, a subsidiary of the Irish-American real estate fund Tribeach, has divested a plot of land in the city centre of Krakow, Southern Poland. The transaction price amounted to PLN 83 mln (EUR 22 mln). The companies agreed not to disclose the name of the buyer. Colliers International advised the seller.
Located at Rakowicka street near the city's Old Town, the site offers nearly 50,000 m2 of land with a permit for the construction of mixed-use commercial real estate facilities. 'The value of the transaction reflects the attractiveness of the land being sold, both in terms of location, infrastructure connection, and development potential,' said Daniel Puchalski of Colliers International.
Puchalski, who has been leading Colliers' land investment division since its creation in 2008, said that the investment market for land plots has been one of the most active in Poland over the past months.
Tribeach is a real estate development company with offices in New York, Dublin and Krakow.
