In the Netherlands, Bergenthal will take over the baton from Javier Cuellar Sanchez, who will move to a new position overseeing Klépierre's Iberian portfolio. In Turkey, Bergenthal will replace Mehmet Kozlu, who will gain a new position at the company's headquarters in Paris.

Bergenthal, who has been with Klépierre for more than 10 years, took on the role of country head of Germany in 2018. He has been tasked with strategic alignment of the REIT's portfolio in the regions for which he is responsible, and positioning the platform for the future. This includes expanding third-party activities in the areas of asset and centre management.
