French listed retail specialist Klépierre has announced the sale of three retail assets for a total value of EUR 72.8 mln (excluding transfer duties). The figure is higher than the appraised value of the assets on 31 December 2009, the company said in a press release. The names of the buyers were not disclosed.

The divestments include a high street retail property covering 4,500 m2 in downtown Oslo by Steen & Strøm on 31 May. The sales price came to 250 mln NKr (EUR 31.5 mln euro) for gross rents of 9.7 mln NKr (EUR 1.2 mln ). In France, the company sold the Douai - Flers-en-Escrebieu shopping centre on June 4 for a total of EUR 30 mln. The mall comprises 40 shops spread over approximately 7,500 m2.
Finally, in accordance with a sale and purchase promissory agreement signed in early April, Klémurs sold a complex of retail storefront properties in downtown Rouen with a total sales area of 2,848 m2. The sales price came to EUR 11.3 mln excluding transfer duties, for gross rents of EUR 0.85 mln per year.
Following the sale of an office property in Levallois-Perret (West of Paris) in the first quarter of 2010, the latest transactions bring the total amount of asset sales completed so far in 2010 to around EUR 107 mln. For the full year, the company is planning to dispose assets worth between EUR 250-400 mln.
