French REIT Klépierre has completed the extension to its major Les Sentiers de Claye-Souilly shopping centre in eastern Paris following two years of construction work.
Paris-based Klépierre has invested a total of EUR 110 mln in the development project which has added a further 13,000 m2 of gross space to the mall, bringing its total surface to over 56,000 m2. The scheme has also gained a BREEAM 'Very Good' Environmental Rating.
The extension has enhanced the retail mix of the centre with the arrival of strong brands such as H&M, Sephora and Zara, Klépierre added. 'We have transformed Les Sentiers de Claye-Souilly into a major regional mall,' said Laurent Morel, chairman of Klépierre's executive board.
The scheme, encompassing 130 stores, is 99% let at opening and attracts over 6 million visitors annually.
