Klepierre has acquired two shopping center developments in the Polish cities of Rybnik and Sosnowiec from Plaza Centers Europe (PCE) for EUR 90 mln. The facilities of the fully-let shopping centers include a cinema, a bowling alley and several restaurants.

Klepierre has acquired two shopping center developments in the Polish cities of Rybnik and Sosnowiec from Plaza Centers Europe (PCE) for EUR 90 mln. The facilities of the fully-let shopping centers include a cinema, a bowling alley and several restaurants.

Rybnik Plaza has a floor space of 18,000 m2, including 81 retail units. Sosnowiec Plaza offers 75 retail units on a retail area of 13,200 m2. The two shopping centers are expected to generate total gross rent of EUR 6.8 mln. This acquisition will bring to seven the number of malls owned by Klepierre in Poland.

In addition, Klepierre's board has given the go-ahead to acquire the offices located in the real estate complex of the Duna Plaza center for EUR 14 mln. These offices will generate annual rent of EUR 1.2 mln based on the current occupancy rate of 89%.
