KKR and its European hospitality partner Amante Capital have acquired the 132-bedroom Park Grand London Kensington Hotel from Bartek Holdings Limited.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but it is the first acquisition by KKR and Amante Capital since the launch of their vertically integrated hotel platform in 2022.
The acquisition was made through KKR’s Real Estate Partners Europe II (REPE II), a value-add and opportunistic vehicle for Western Europe.
Following the acquisition, the property in London’s affluent Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea is intended to undergo an extensive refurbishment to be repositioned as a boutique lifestyle hotel operated by Amante Capital under Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio brand.
