Private equity firm KKR has announced the appointment of Jenny Hammarlund as a director in KKR’s real estate team, based in London.
Private equity firm KKR has announced the appointment of Jenny Hammarlund as a director in KKR’s real estate team, based in London.
Jenny Hammarlund joined KKR from US-based alternative investment adviser Värde Partners, where she was a director responsible for real estate acquisitions across Europe. Prior to Värde, Hammarlund was a vice-president in the real estate department of Lehman Brothers in New York.
Guillaume Cassou, member and head of European real estate at KKR, said: 'As we continue to build our real estate effort in Europe, Jenny’s investing experience across Western Europe will be of great value.'
Since launching a dedicated real estate platform in 2011, KKR has committed over $2.5 bn (€2.25 bn) to 50 real estate transactions in the US, Europe and Asia. The global real estate team consists of over 40 dedicated investment professionals.
