Kingstone Real Estate has announced the appointment of Friedrich von Carlowitz as new managing director of its sales arm as the company continues to expand its sales, client relations and business development segments.

Going forward, von Carlowitz will head and control the Kingstone Group’s sales and client management in regard to real estate and debt investments.

For nearly 27 years, von Carlowitz has worked in various spheres of activity of the real estate investment industry, particularly in sales and client relations management inside and outside Germany. He spent the past ten years (2014 through 2024) with Macquarie Group in Munich, eventually serving in the position of associate director. In this role, he successfully raised several hundred million euros in equity capital from institutional investors for various real estate investment funds. In the areas of investment management and fund management as well as structuring, he was responsible for an international portfolio of real estate assets worth more than €1 bn.

His previous career stops include PGIM (2008 through 2014), Union Investment Real Estate, Commerz Real and Ernst & Young Real Estate. In several companies, von Carlowitz was responsible for sales and transactions in the Asia-Pacific region, among other things.
