German fund manager KGAL said this week that it has appointed Michael Kohl as head of its open-ended fund business.
In this role, he will be responsible for KGAL’s real estate fund launched in 2019, the immo Substanz,as well as the open infrastructure mutual fund scheduled for launch next year. At the same time, he will also support new product development in this area on behalf of the entire Group.
Kohl can draw upon more than 25 years of experience as a tax consultant at EY and from various management positions in the Commerzbank Group. Following positions at Commerz Real, where he was responsible for all of the company's real estate funds, most recently he was also managing director responsible for asset management in Commerzbank’s private client business.
