London-listed Kennedy Wilson Europe has appointed Mike Pegler as head of European asset management, excluding Ireland.

London-listed Kennedy Wilson Europe has appointed Mike Pegler as head of European asset management, excluding Ireland.

He joins the firm following 10 years with private equity firm Blackstone, where he was a managing director in the real estate group.

Pegler was responsible for various portfolio and asset management activities across Blackstone’s European business including, most recently, overseeing the management of its pan-European logistics business Logicor and its UK core-plus office portfolio.

He was also behind a number of significant disposals for Blackstone, including the sale of the Broadgate estate in London to Singapore’s GIC, the sale of Chiswick Park to the China Investment Corporation and the sale of Center Parcs to Brookfield.

Prior to Blackstone, Pegler worked in the investment management team at Deloitte where he specialised in services to private equity and real estate funds.
