UK-based property investor and developer Kenmore said on Wednesday it has appointed Jonas Ramstedt as investment manager of its Stockholm office. His brief will be to identify and carry out new investments in the Nordic region.

Ramstedt joins Kenmore from Oscar Properties, based in Stockholm, where he was primarily responsible for the acquisition and project management of developments. Prior to this he worked as part of DTZ’s investment team.

Ramstedt joins a team of six in Kenmore’s Stockholm office, which was established in October 2006. Kenmore has been active in Sweden since 2005 and currently has around EUR 130mln of assets under management and EUR 630mln in Scandinavia as a whole. The company has invested EUR 32.3mln in the region so far this year, compared to around EUR 144mln in 2007 as a whole.

Commenting on the appointment, managing director Rob Brook said: 'With investment opportunities opening up in Scandinavia and a strong infrastructure of offices to lean on we have invested wisely in key individuals to lead these deals forward and increase our market presence in the region.'
