KanAm is winding up the US-grundinvest fund in response to demands from a majority of unit holders in Germany's only dollar-denominated open-ended fund. The fund has sold 11 of its 17 properties in the space of eight months despite difficult market conditions in the north American market.
KanAm said the second payment would be made in June 2011, by which time the remaining assets will have been sold.
