German fund manager KanAm Grund has acquired a recently completed office building in Barcelona in a share deal understood to be worth in the region of €70 mln.
The property with around 8,400 m2 of rental space is located on Carrer de Tànger 36, one of the coveted main office axes in the 22@ district, and is leased to the Spanish branch of online retailer Amazon. Developed by OHL, the asset is targeting Leed Gold certification.
The property was acquired for the Europe Select open-ended fund, which is 85% invested in office properties in Great Britain, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands and Germany.
