KanAm grundinvest Fonds has sold Tour Europe in Paris La Défense, bringing total divestments from the fund in liquidation to around €1.3 bn.
Tour Europe, which is the former headquarters of the UN Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), was renovated and relet before its sale to one of the largest asset managers in the US. The transaction price was not disclosed.
KanAm has now sold seven assets in the second half of the year alone, with nine assets being transacted since the dissolution of KanAm grundinvest Fonds, representing 80% of the fund volume. The remaining 10 properties are being actively marketed.
The other assets sold so far in H2 2016 include an €875 mln prime office portfolio, signed over to Amundi in July. Ownership of the package, which includes five assets in Paris, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, should be transferred this month.
