Frankfurt-based KanAm Grund Group has opened a London branch office and established an executive management team as it looks to expand its global reach.

Frankfurt-based KanAm Grund Group has opened a London branch office and established an executive management team as it looks to expand its global reach.

The asset management firm has appointed Sascha Schadly as managing director of KanAm Grund Institutional, while Paris bureau chief Alexia Jäger will take responsiblilty for real estate and asset management duties. KanAm also has a branch office in Atlanta.

The 12-strong executive management headed by managing partners Hans-Joachim Kleinert and Olivier Catusse will oversee the firm’s overall strategy.

KanAm said the move was designed to transform the company from a German real estate fund manager into an international property business, with a primary focus on Europe and the US. The company is also setting up a ‘Chinese desk’ to communicate directly with potential investors in China.
