German fund manager Kanam Grund has issued a cash call to fund the acquisition of four office properties for its first ‘new generation’ open-ended fund.

The four properties are located in prime locations in Berlin, London, Paris and Brussels, and were acquired for Kanam Grund’s new Leading Cities Invest fund, which is structured in line with new legislation that came into force in Germany in July ensuring greater protection for investors.

The fund is targeting an initial annual return of over 3%. Investors can participate in the fund from €100.

Frankfurt-based KanAm Grund Group comprises two separate companies: KanAm Grund Kapitalanlagegesellschaft, an investment company for open-ended real estate funds; and KanAm Grund Spezialfondsgesellschaft, an investment company for special open-ended real estate funds.
