KanAm Grund Group has added property fund specialist Jacob Pretzell to its institutional investment fund business.
The 46-year-old executive was appointed as director of fund management and will focus on the management of specialized real estate funds for KanAm Grund Group – particularly those focused on public tenants in Germany and other European countries – in addition to the strategic development of investment fund plans.
Pretzell will also be responsible for the operational implementation of measures relating to investment funds. He has worked in the real estate sector for more than 15 years and has extensive experience of investment fund management, including investment fund monitoring and investor support, as well as setting up and structuring of funds for institutional investors. He has also worked in the area of asset and property management of commercial buildings for international investors.
Before joining KanAm Grund Group, Jacob Pretzell was for several years director of Fund Management at GEG German Estate Group GmbH/DIC Asset. Other previous posts include senior asset manager at Mayfield Property.
