He will be responsible for further integration of CBRE’s business lines regionally and for strengthening cooperation between individual countries in the two regions.

Kaledkiewicz was already the head of advisory and transaction services business line in Poland, responsible for the entire office sector and a member of CBRE’s operating management board in the country.

Units currently reporting to him include office/warehouse/retail space letting, property portfolio management and strategic consultancy.

Daniel Bienias, CBRE managing director in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, said: ‘For a longer time now, we have been noticing a change in our clients’ approach who see the Central and Eastern Europe region as a whole. They also expect us to present a comprehensive approach in terms of services offered, which we achieve by continuously strengthening cooperation between individual countries or service lines. Lukasz’s experience in building and integrating various business areas guarantees success in the challenge that he undertook.’

Lukasz Kaledkiewicz, head of CBRE’s office sector in Poland in CEE and SEE regions, added: ‘I am going to use my experience of consolidation and integration of various business lines in the company to develop them as best possible and also in the greater scale in the CEE region. In these demanding times, the office sector is facing many challenges, for investors and tenants alike. Therefore, it is even more important that the services we provide meet all needs of the clients not only locally, but also throughout the region.’

Prior to joining CBRE in 2010, Kaledkiewicz worked at DTZ where he was responsible for letting office spaces.
