Eastdil, which celebrated its 50th anniversary earlier this year, has up until now completed around €9.9 bn of transctions in German-speaking countries from its London office.

'Combined with our European headquarters in London and our strategic alliance with Finae Advisors in Paris, opening an office in Germany will further establish our presence and client coverage within the three largest European markets. It is another important milestone in our quest to further expand globally,' commented Michael Van Konynenburg, president of Eastdil Secured.

Kadel joins Eastdil following a 17-year career at JLL, where he executed a full range of capital markets transactions throughout Germany, including the last five years as the head of its Frankfurt office investment team responsible for the execution of over €5 bn of local mandates.

Kadel will be supported by Eastdil's co-heads of Europe, Michael Cochran and Jim McCaffrey, along with the 10 German nationals on their European team of over 50 professionals.

'As our business continues to expand on a global basis, Germany is clearly of strategic importance to our efforts, and will allow us to further serve our clients. With the support of the full resources of our global platform, we are excited to have Christian on our team and enthusiastic about the prospects for our growth throughout the region.' said Cochran.
