JP Morgan Asset Management has announced the appointments of Marie-Claire Bolton and Masami Takizawa as executive directors of global real estate client portfolio management, effective immediately.

JP Morgan expands global real estate team

Bolton is based in London and reports to Peter Reilly, head of Real Estate Europe. Takizawa is based in Tokyo and reports to Ben Aiken, head of Real Estate Asia Pacific Client Portfolio Management.

Both managers are responsible for advising clients and the forging of relationships with institutional investors in their respective regions for a global real estate platform with more than $82 bn in gross assets under management. Bolton will partner with institutions across Europe and the Middle East. Takizawa will work with Japanese institutions.

Bolton joins JP Morgan Asset Management’s Global Real Estate team from the JPMorgan Private Bank, where she was a senior investment adviser for the UK Investment Team and responsible for business development and maintaining strategic client relationships. Previously, she worked at Goldman Sachs, managing multi-asset class discretionary investment portfolios for Private Clients across the EMEA region.
 
Takizawa joins JP Morgan from UBS Asset Management, where she was co-head of Real Estate & Private Markets, Japan.
