The Jordanian company has been approached by investors from the Gulf region to establish a major exhibition centre in the Jordanian capital Amman. These investors, he said, already operate exhibition centres in other Gulf states and had come to Mawared with German companies, other than Messe Munchen, that operate such centres. Mawared was established six years ago to develop mixed-use schemes on former military bases in Jordan.

The company is registered in Luxembourg and is also talking to European peers about financing.
