JLL has made two senior appointments in its global funds advisory team to strengthen its capital raising and investment advisory capabilities.
Georg Frauboes joins as a director based in London, while Eugene Kim also joins as a director based in Singapore. In their roles, they will be responsible for underwriting investment opportunities and managing the capital raising process in their respective regions.
The global funds advisory team, led by Matilde Attolico in London, works with investment managers across the world to provide support and strategic counsel on product development and capital raising for real estate investment opportunities.
Frauboes joins JLL from UBS Asset Management, where he worked alongside regional teams, underwriting real estate funds globally on behalf of UBS Multi-Manager Real Estate clients.
Kim joins from Canada’s Brookfield Asset Management. Most recently he was a member of its product development and strategy group, creating investment strategies and vehicles across real estate, infrastructure and private equity. Prior to that he worked in real estate investment banking in Brookfield’s global advisory business.
The global funds advisory team was created in July 2017 with the amalgamation of existing funds advisory capabilities and the appointments of Attolico as head of the team, and Zeynep Fetvaci as a director. Van Eldik joined to lead its Asia-Pacific arm in October 2017.
