JLL has appointed Anand Assi and Thomas Noto as business development directors to its EMEA Industrial & Logistics business with immediate effect.
Assi and Noto, based in London and Luxembourg respectively, are taking newly created roles to deepen JLL's growing logistics and supply chain advisory business. They both bring extensive experience in 3PL, logistics and supply chain management.
Said Sven Schürer, EMEA business development Lead of Industrial & Logistics, EMEA, JLL: 'We are absolutely thrilled to welcome two new directors with the range and depth of experience of Thomas and Arnand.
'Demand for faster, more sustainable and more flexible services, together with rapidly changing economic and political landscapes, is driving macro shifts in the supply chain and the logistics property industry.
'The insight and expertise they can add to our advisory business will add real value to our clients looking to capitalise on the opportunities we see in a very dynamic and exciting market.'
Assi, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, has over 20 years’ experience in international supply chain management.
He has spent the last 10 years working across Europe; establishing national freight distribution networks, including their strategic design, execution and launch.
Since 2000 he has also worked as part of Hilary Devey’s Pall-Ex Group, sitting on the board and driving a broad range of diversification and international expansion projects, including activating the ambitions of leading high-street retailers and supermarket chains.
Noto has worked for several top 3PL/4PL organisations, where he honed his expertise in customer-centric P&L Management in various industries, and most recently operated his own consultancy advising clients across real estate and supply chain projects.
