Broker JLL has appointed Rekha Toora as senior vice president and Marc Nelson as executive vice president to its EMEA hotels and hospitality team.
Toora joins JLL from her former position as CIO of Qbic Hotels. She has a proven track record in originating and executing hospitality transactions in the UK and Europe and will further enhance the teams strong European deal-making capabilities.
As executive vice president, Nelson will be responsible for long income and funding solutions across JLL’s hotels and hospitality group in the EMEA region to further broaden services and capitalise on the continuing demand for fixed income opportunities. In addition, he will be working alongside market leading teams in executing trading hotels and portfolio deals as well as a specialist JLL Capital Markets team focusing on long income and funding solutions.
He joins from CBRE’s Hotels team where he was director, investment properties and has traded over £1 bn of hotel transactions including the Clayton Hotel Charlemont, Como Metropolitan Hotel, Premier Inn Westfurry, Maldron Glasgow and 150 Travelodge hotel deals through both portfolio and single asset transactions.

Over the last five years JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group has completed transactions worth €13.4 bn across EMEA.
