Jones Lang LaSalle is to re-structure its operations across Southeastern Europe following a strategic assessment of its operational presence.
The proposed restructure will create a regional client-service hub, led by the existing JLL office and leadership team in Belgrade, Serbia.
As part of the restructuring, JLL is closing its office in Zagreb, Croatia, while its Belgrade office in Serbia will act as the focus for commercial real estate client advice across the Southeastern European region. All other existing JLL operations in Southeastern Europe are unaffected.
'Serbia is a country at the crossroads of both Central and Southeastern Europe, and due to the strategic location of Belgrade we are well placed to serve clients’ needs in all eight countries within the region,' commented Andrew Peirson, managing director, JLL Serbia. 'We already have a strong roster of corporate clients that benefit from our local and global expertise and can provide a broad range of advice across cities, sectors and clients who are both present and looking to enter the region.'
