'The Czech market and the CEE region as a whole is experiencing an exciting time of growth. We are delighted to have someone of Mike’s calibre on board, bringing deep real estate knowledge, experience and understanding, particularly of local markets,' commented Miroslav Barnas, managing director, Czech Republic and Slovakia, JLL.

'Our Czech business celebrates its 25th anniversary this week and with his strong track record, bringing Mike into our team further strengthens our offering to clients and builds on our already market-leading capital markets business in the region.'

Atwell has more than 30 years’ experience in international real estate consulting. He joins JLL after five years at CBRE where, latterly, he spent two years as Head of international capital markets France. 'The European investment landscape is shifting and we are witnessing ever-increasing flows of capital into the Czech Republic and other CEE markets from international investors into multiple real estate sectors. As client needs evolve and investment strategies develop, Mike’s leadership will ensure that we continue to help our clients identify opportunities, navigate complexities and, ultimately, achieve their investment ambitions,' concluded Matthew Richards, head of capital markets, EMEA, JLL.
