Global property adviser Jones Lang LaSalle has launched a new team to provide commercial and financial advice as well as raise capital for developers of renewable energy projects.
The team, which will form part of Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance EMEA, has strong links to a number of investor groups seeking opportunities in this emerging sector. The team recently aligned itself into four business lines to drive sustained growth and appointed Andreas Quint to head the practice and position it as a pan-European platform. The business lines provide bespoke offerings to equity, debt, M&A and renewable energy markets.
Dane Wilkins, head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Renewable Energy Capital team, said: 'The renewable energy sector will continue to enjoy strong growth over the next few years, with new investors and players entering the market from real estate as capital seeks alternatives homes with similar risk/return profiles'.
