Property adviser JLL has named Saydam Salaheddin as regional director and head of capital markets for Russia & CIS.
Salaheddin has over 17 years of experience in the investment sector and real estate market. Most recently he worked as an independent financial adviser to companies in Russia including Renaissance Construction and Development, Renaissance Capital, Vi Holding Development and MR Group.
Prior to this, he worked in investment banking where between 1998 and 2011 he held a number of positions at Credit Suisse in London and Moscow. He left the company as managing director in the investment banking department where he was responsible for real estate and consumer products in Russia, CIS and Turkey.
In 2011 he joined Renaissance Capital as managing director of investment banking, responsible for global real estate operations.
Salaheddin has been involved in over $25 bn of IPOs, equity/debt raisings, and M&A transactions across EMEA. In Russia, this included the acquisition of Coca-Cola's Russian and Baltic operations in 1999, the IPOs of Sistema JSFC, Mirland, LSR Group and Etalon, and the debt restructurings of Sistema-Hals and PIK Group.
