JLL has appointed Anindya Biswas as digital transformation lead of its cloud-based facilities management (FM) services – operated through Corrigo – across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This is a new role, based in London.
Biswas joins the firm from FM provider Mitie, where he was the digital transformation director. Prior to that, Biswas held relevant positions at global consultancies including McKinsey and KPMG. He also founded a data driven technology start up based in Bangalore to provide “data as infrastructure” for social organisations, which was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
'The way we use buildings is changing. Corporate real estate and workplaces are increasingly viewed as strategic drivers of business transformation and digital strategy,' said Yash Kapila, chief operating officer of IFM, EMEA, JLL.
'At JLL, we want to be at the forefront to offer clients new, innovative solutions. Anindya’s skills and experience will only strengthen our ability to provide market leading insights to our clients,' Kapila added.
'Data and digital disruption are transforming real estate as a whole and IFM is no exception,' said Biswas. 'It is exciting to be joining JLL at a time when it is putting so much emphasis on improving client experience through the use of technology. I look forward to working with clients and colleagues to widen our platform as the sector grows.'
