Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance has established a working relationship with Invensure, a firm in Denmark that specialises in advising pension funds and life insurance companies. Michael Weischer, chairman of the Danish Real Estate Club, joins Invensure from PenSam where he was responsible for asset allocation and indirect real estate investments, to set up a real estate practice and focus on the strategic working relationship between Invensure clients and the Indirect Investment team of Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance.

Julian Schiller, director and head of the Indirect Investment team at Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance said: 'The rationale behind us establishing this relationship is to provide unlisted real estate and infrastructure fund advice to Invensure clients. The combination of Jones Lang LaSalle’s expertise in the indirect funds market and Invensure’s local market knowledge, presence and understanding of investor needs will provide a superior service to Invensure clients who are looking to participate in indirect real estate funds.'

JLL's merger earlier this month with the company formerly known as Trammell Crow Meghraj (TCM) created the largest RE services firm in India. The combined entity, Jones Lang LaSalle Meghraj, will have approximately 2,800 employees in India, with offices in 10 cities and 4 million m2 under management across India. 'Jones Lang LaSalle has an unmatched global corporate platform and industry best practices while TCM has unparalleled local market penetration and a strong financial position,' Peter Barge, Jones Lang LaSalle's Asia Pacific ceo, said. 'Together they form the pre-eminent and largest real estate services provider in India, with a robust platform that will play to the strengths of both firms and elevate service delivery, coverage and depth for clients.'
