JLL has announced plans to enhance its lease management processes by extending its relationship with data tech experts Leverton.
The broker has already signed with Berlin-based Leverton to automate and digitise key administrative processes in lease management, but indicated the intention to enhance the use of Leverton's machine learning and deep learning technology.
Christian Ulbrich, President, JLL, commented: 'We constantly seek to further enhance the quality and efficiency of all our client services. Directly supporting that aim, JLL has a major ongoing strategic commitment to investments in the best new uses of technology, data and digitalisation.' He added: 'This expansion of our partnership with Leverton is a good example, increasing the capacity, reliability and efficiency of our lease administration capabilities.'
Leverton’s machine learning technology enables the identification, extraction and management of key terms and data from corporate documents, such as leases and contracts, in multiple languages.
JLL plans to further integrate these systems into its own global technology platforms to enhance the leasing review process. The broker said that clients would benefit from faster and more efficient processing of documentation, reduced operational risk and a more robust audit trail.
