JLL has appointed PwC executive Stephanie Hyde as CEO of its UK business with effect from April 2021.
Hyde, who currently leads large global client accounts, has been at PwC for 25 years. Roles have included running PwC’s industry programme with a focus on technology, transformation and sustainability. She previously led the UK regional business for PwC and has been a member of the firm’s global leadership team and UK executive board.
Current UK CEO Chris Ireland, who has held the position since 2016, will move to the role of chairman.
Under his tenure, JLL has grown in both transactional markets and new areas of expertise including sustainability services and environmental social governance (ESG), debt advisory and life sciences.
According to JLL, the UK is the company’s second largest market. Hyde has been charged with leading the UK business, and continuing to strengthen JLL’s position as a technology-focused real estate advisor.
