Jones Lang LaSalle Sweden has announced the recruitment of Håkan Pehrsson as head of asset management and Retail for Sweden, with an additional overview of those areas for the other countries of the Nordic Region.

Pehrsson joins from IKEA Real Estate Russia & CIS, where he was deputy general director, and brings with him extensive real estate, retail and consulting experience, the adviser said.

Charlotte Strömberg, CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle in the Nordics said: 'We are extremely happy that Håkan is joining our already strong team at Jones Lang LaSalle. He brings with him a wealth of solid experience in developing property and retail, in Sweden as well as internationally, for example in Centrumutveckling and most recently in IKEA in Russia and CIS, with the establishment of Mega Malls in a challenging environment. Håkan’s appointment significantly strengthens and further differentiates our already well established Asset Management and Retail businesses across the Nordic Region.'

Pehrsson will start at Jones Lang LaSalle on 20 September.
