Agent JLL has announced the appointment of investor business director Enrique Losantos as its new managing director for Spain.
Losantos has been the director of JLL's investor business in Spain since April last year, a role he will now combine with his new country leadership responsibilities.
Losantos began his career at Société Générale where he spent three years as a trader in the options and futures markets. After Société Générale, he was the Deputy CFO at Spanish Grupo Riofisa for seven years.
Between 2006 and 2013, he was the head of real estate in the capital markets department at Banesto. He was in charge of creating, structuring and executing financial transactions across all commercial property market segments. Also at Banesto, he led and executed numerous alternative asset sales processes.
In January 2013, he joined Grupo Santander as the head of mergers and acquisitions in the real estate sector for Europe.
