Jones Lang LaSalle has announced that Grant Fitzner is joining the global property advisory to take over as head of EMEA Research. He replaces Paul Guest who is moving to Singapore to take on the role of Global Capital Markets Research Director.
Jones Lang LaSalle has announced that Grant Fitzner is joining the global property advisory to take over as head of EMEA Research. He replaces Paul Guest who is moving to Singapore to take on the role of Global Capital Markets Research Director.
Both will take up their new appointments in January 2011.
Fitzner comes from the Department for Communities and Local Government in the UK, where he is chief analyst and chief economist. He has over 20 years previous experience in economics, financial markets and strategic analysis in both the public and private sectors.
He has held senior positions at HSBC, the UK government's Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and the Australian government.
Fitzner will also join JLL’s Global Research Executive to represent EMEA.
Guest, in his new role, which has been positioned at the centre of the rapidly-expanding Asia Pacific region, will work closely with the Global Capital Markets Board, the International Capital Group and the regional capital markets businesses, as well as the global Hotels business.
He will continue as a member of the Global Research Executive.
Guest joined Jones Lang LaSalle in London in 2007, and has a background in economic and financial analysis across a range of asset classes, having previously been chief European economist for Moody's Investors Services.
