JLL has appointed Yash Kapila as chief operating officer for its Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), with effect from October.

JLL has appointed Yash Kapila as chief operating officer for its Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), with effect from October.

Kapila is currently an international director at JLL in India and brings 22 years of industry experience to the role.

A UK national, Kapila will return to Europe for his new role and be based in London. He succeeds Ed Povinelli, who has moved to a new position within JLL.

The announcement follows the appointments of Phil Batty to head of IFM for the Middle East and North Africa in June and Stan Frank as head of IFM, sub-Saharan Africa in March.

JLL's IFM team measures and manages the performance of corporate clients' buildings.
