Global agent JLL has announced an expanded EMEA board role for Benoît du Passage, with Charles Boudet succeeding him as managing director for France.
Effective 1 July, Du Passage will become CEO for Southern Europe and the Maghreb, with overall regional board responsibility for JLL’s operations across France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Morocco and neighbouring countries in north-west Africa.
This is an expansion of Du Passage’s existing EMEA management board role and reflects JLL’s strategic growth plans for the countries of the surrounding western Mediterranean.
Boudet succeeds Du Passage as managing director for France and will relocate to Paris from 1 September. A French national, Boudet has spent the past 10 years based in JLL’s Moscow office where, since 2009, he has been managing director of the firm’s Russia & CIS business. Boudet announced the appointment of Thomas Devonshire-Griffin as his successor in that role in March this year.
Du Passage said: 'We see great prospects for all our businesses across southern Europe and north-western Africa where improving economic conditions are supporting increased client interest and activity.'
