Mathias Vuorelma and Tero Uusitalo have been appointed to co-lead the capital markets team while Kaisu Pienimäki is to become the new head of Valuation and Advisor.

Joining JLL in 2010 and 2007 respectively, Vuorelma and Uusitalo have played an important part in the growth of the Capital Markets team advising domestic and international clients. In their new roles, both will lead the strategic development and continued growth of JLL’s Capital Markets business in Finland. Vuorelma and Uusitalo take over from Christian Hohenthal, former head of Capital Markets, and former CEO of JLL Finland recently succeeded by Tero Lehtonen.

Tero Lehtonen, CEO, JLL, Finland, said: 'We are excited to have Mathias and Tero take the helm. Both have played an integral part in the growth of JLL’s investment offering. Their expert knowledge of the real estate market in Finland, dedication and commitment to delivering innovative solutions makes them a natural choice for the capital markets leadership. Together with the recently appointed Head of Nordic Capital Markets, Thomas Persson, we will continue to strengthen JLL’s robust investment advisory business.'

Pienimäki joined JLL in 2007. In 2014, she became the head of the Retail Advisory business, taking it to a market leading position. In her new role, Pienimäki will focus on growing and developing JLL’s advisory and analysis services.

These follow the recent appointment of Tero Lehtonen as the new CEO of JLL in Finland. Having joined JLL in 2006, Lehtonen served in a range of increasingly senior positions, including Head of Finnish Valuation and Advisory, before being appointed as Chief Operating Officer of JLL in Finland in 2019.

JLL Finland offers Capital Markets, Valuations, Advisory, Leasing and Project & Development Services to domestic clients and international investors in, and occupiers of, real estate in Finland.
