JLL has appointed Sven Schürer as a business development director in its EMEA Industrial & Logistics business with immediate effect.

Schürer will be based in Frankfurt for this newly created role, working across JLL’s growing logistics and supply chain advisory business. the firm said.

Schürer has more than 10 years of industry experience and joins JLL from French supply chain specialist ID Logistics where he was director of business development in Germany. Prior to this, he held relevant positions at international firms including Miebach Consulting and Siemens Mobile.

JLL’s Industrial & Logistics business was established in 1997 and the team currently has over 700 specialists across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Schürer’s appointment follows the recent hires of Simon McWilliams, head of supply chain consulting and Werner Gliem, business development director in Germany. JLL also recently announced the acquisition of specialist supply-chain business Vincia in France.
