Global property adviser JLL has appointed Harry Bannatyne as lead director of industrial and logistics for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) with immediate effect.
Bannatyne will be responsible for coordinating and promoting JLL’s industrial, logistics and supply chain capabilities across the CEE region. This role will take place alongside his current responsibilities as head of the industrial business of JLL Czech Republic.
Bannatyne has over 13 years’ experience in real estate, with five years focused on leasing licensed premises and almost eight years focused on the office and industrial market. He joined JLL in 2008 bringing with him valuable business experience from running his own company.
The appointment comes as a new JLL report identifies CEE as an increasingly attractive location for nearshoring industrial real estate assets. This is being driven by businesses that are increasingly adopting a segmented approach to supply chain planning for a range of reasons, such as managing labour costs, mitigating risks and reducing inefficiencies.
