JLL has hired Matilde Attolico and Zeynep Fetvaci in its newly created global funds advisory team, after amalgamating existing regional teams to form a new unit.
Attolico and Fetvaci join JLL from real estate advisory boutique, Hodes Weill & Associates, where both were managing directors, and where Attolico had helped establish the firm’s London office. Attolico will head-up the JLL team globally, from a London base.
'We’re excited about the continued evolution of our offering to clients. Matilde and Zeynep joining our existing team of advisory and capital raising specialists is an important part of our ongoing expansion and we are delighted to welcome them,' commented John O’Driscoll, head of corporate finance, EMEA, JLL.
With more than 35 years’ experience combined, the pair brings expertise in capital raising, private placement, distribution and marketing of alternative assets – both debt and equity – across real estate, private equity, infrastructure, venture capital, mezzanine and distressed funds.
Prior to Hodes Weill, Attolico was a founding partner of Mercury Capital Advisors, and before that had spent nine years at Merrill Lynch International in a series of specialist roles. Fetvaci’s career history includes senior roles at Peakside Capital, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.
'Our specialist funds advisory business is positioned to help our clients tap into vast global capital flows moving around the world, to offer investors access to the highest quality opportunities and to help them navigate the complexities of a shifting investment landscape,' said Richard Bloxam, global head of capital markets, JLL.
'The challenge, and opportunity, for funds raising capital is that they face a wider and deeper pool of investors than ever before. For investors, it’s the option to diversify how they access real estate, whether that’s through equity or debt, direct or indirect, to achieve their investment objectives,' Bloxam concluded.
