The Jensco Group has sold Traffic Street, a 552-bed PBSA asset in Nottingham, UK, to iQ Student Accommodation, one of the UK’s top student housing groups, and owned by Blackstone.
The deal is expected to complete at the end of June 2023 and is thought to be for around €80 mln (£70 mln).
Ten Traffic Street is a 522-bed property developed by Jensco. It began operating in September 2022.
Nottingham is the fifth largest student market in the UK and is home to the University of Nottingham, part of the Russell Group, and Nottingham Trent University, the third largest university in the UK by student numbers.
Harris Associates, a leading PBSA property agency, acted on behalf of Jensco on the disposal.
