Tivona Eta, part of the Jelmoli Group, has invested around CHF 260 mln (EUR 170 mln) in the development of the complex, which will be managed by the German shopping centre specialist ECE.

The Swiss company bought the site in 2000 and 2001 and started development in November 2007. Designed by architects Diener & Diener from Basel, Stucki is a two-floor structure consisting of two adjancent malls divided by a shopping street. The scheme offers 120 shops, a foodcourt and a total of 800 underground parking spaces. Anchor tenants include retailers Migros and H&M. The center also has 4,000 m2 of office surface, and another 35,000 m2 in the Stucki Business Park, located across the street.

There is a three-star 122-room Best Western Stücki Hotel next to the mall.
